Clauzeo uses a deliberately small amount of browser storage. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
Session storage
When you sign in, your authenticated session is held in browser storage so you stay signed in between page loads. Clearing it signs you out. This is strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be switched off while you are using the workspace.
Local preferences
A small amount of local storage holds interface state such as a registry draft created before you had an account. It never leaves your browser except when you explicitly save it into your account.
Hosting and security
Our hosting and security provider sets two cookies on every visit: __cf_bm, which distinguishes real visitors from automated traffic, and __dpl, which routes your request to the correct version of the site. Both are strictly necessary to serve the site safely, contain no advertising or profiling data, and expire quickly.
Performance measurement
Our hosting platform runs a small first-party performance script that records page-loading speed measurements. To group the measurements from one browsing session it may set a cookie named session-id, holding a random identifier that lasts 30 minutes and is not linked to your account, your email, or any other site. It is used only for aggregate page-speed measurement, never for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other websites.
Payments
Our payment processor, Stripe, sets its own cookies to run the payment form and to guard against fraud. The main ones are __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, which Stripe uses to recognise a device for fraud prevention. Stripe's script — and therefore these cookies — loads only when you actually open the checkout, never from simply browsing the site. Stripe sets them under its own policy.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics pixels, no cross-site profiling, and no fingerprinting. The storage we do set is limited to what keeps the site working plus anonymous page-speed measurement, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
Controlling storage
You can clear cookies and site data for clauzeo.com at any time through your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and clears any local draft that has not been saved to your account.
